I just spent the week at a fairly large conference. Every session had free water bottles available so many of us kept the water close at hand. Several times throughout the week, I would notice that every time the speaker would reach for a drink of water, several people would take the opportunity to take a drink themselves. After observing this a few times, I was really struck with the reality of the power of suggestion. By simply watching someone take a drink, others were compelled to do the same, at the same moment.
I LOVE to drink deep of the Spirit of God! And my prayer is that the power of suggestion will cause some around me to grab hold of their "water bottle" and take a nice long drink for themselves. It is SO refreshing and a lot of fun!
