Me to Asher: I wonder what you'll be when you grow up.
Asher: A lot of things I think. Like probably a mail man. And probably Santa. Probably I'll work at Starbucks and work at a zoo and take care of animals. Maybe I'll be someone who collects bugs and tigers and saber tooths. Or I'll work at a museum and be the night guard. Probably I'll be a doctor.
And I'll live in Hawaii, Montana or China.
Me: Wow. That's a lot of amazing things.
Asher: Do little kids get married?
Me: That's not a good idea.
Asher: Do teenagers get married?
Me: Well, that's not really a good idea either. How about waiting until you're at least 21.
Asher: How many days is that?
Me: Too many to count.
Asher: Is all you have to do is kiss and then you're married?
Me: Well, no, you have to have a wedding.
Asher: What do I have to wear at a wedding?
Me: Usually a black suit.
Asher: But I don't have a black suit.
Me: I really don't think you have to worry about it yet! Remember, it's a lot of days away!
Asher: Oh yeah.

Glimpses into Asher's little world are fascinating! When I stop to actually listen to the million, gazillion words that come out of his mouth in a day, I'm always amused! :-)
