Growing in Grace and Beauty

My dear, beautiful Abiel Kay. "God is my Father, rejoice." That's what her name means. It has been so amazing to watch her growing in grace and beauty both outwardly and inwardly.
She has been longing to be in ballet. So this is the year! The first day she came home from practice, she declared, "This isn't a graceful dance class, it's a hard, exercise workout!"
So she's learning that to become graceful and beautiful, there is lots of stretching, practicing, and learning to move in ways and positions contrary to normal life. And in the end, she will be a beautiful ballet dancer.
At home, she is also in the process of growing in grace and beauty. We are learning together how to move in ways contrary to our flesh. We are being stretched and pushed by the Holy Spirit, all for the joy of being able to dance through life with the grace and beauty of Jesus, rather than bumble along in our flesh. And even here, she is becoming quite a beauty! I am so thankful that she is my Abiel Kay!
