It's working!

Today I was busy in the kitchen with Thanksgiving prep for the majority of the day. At one point, Asher, Judah and Ella were on a mission to dig a GIANT hole, cover it with a tarp, fill it with water and rescue our duckies from the insanity of their wading pool. They have their papa's visionary gifting, that's for sure!

Somewhere in the digging frenzy, Ella got too close and Judah wasn't watchin' the end of his shovel. The result? A near disaster. Below her eyebrow, very near the corner of her eye, blood was dripping. I cleaned her up and sent her back out to play. About 20 minutes later, she came in crying, holding her eye and saying, "Ouchy mommy, it hurts."

At first I kind of panicked. It was so near the eye, maybe this was affecting her vision? Then I decided it was silly to worry and just brought the Presence of God. As I knelt by her and prayed with the kids standing around us, I felt the Presence of God flow in. Immediately, unprompted, she said, "IT'S WORKING," with great enthusiasm!

I can't say what really went on in that moment. Maybe she wasn't seeing clearly and then she could see. Or maybe it was painful and then it wasn't. But whatever happened, I am certain that she felt something change as I felt the Presence of God pour into her! THANK YOU, JESUS for your tangible, loving, healing Presence. We love you!
