If you need a great movie suggestion here it is: "Something the Lord Made." It's the story of heart surgery pioneers, Dr. Alfred Blalock and Vivien Thomas. Excellent story of the racial tensions of the time (1941) and the beauty of doing what you enjoy and were created to do no matter what recognition you receive.
